Paper, silk and lace
A course constructed around exercises to explore how to tell a story or convey a thought or concept through textiles. Experimenting with stitching onto different papers, including using the written word. Including silk fibres and silk fibre paper to intergrate and connect these thoughts. lace and old textiles to transmit a history. Your final piece may be 2 dimensional or constructed in 3d…..it could even be a corset……
All levels.
